TO ALL YOGA STUDENTS!! Since the camp in Herculane will not take place, there is aranged, instead, a unique spiritual camp for foreigners. This camp will take place in Costinesti BETWEEN THE 4rd AND THE 9th OF MAY. Before the camp, on the 3 OF MAY there will be held a demonstration for foriegners that will take place in Bucharest. The demonstration is aimd to create presure on the Romanian government to respect human rights. The demonstration will take place infront of the consul of the EU in Bucharest, as well as infront of the Romanian Senat. This demonstration will be completly legal, peacefull and authorised by the romanian authorities. This will be the first time in Romanian history that such a demonstration of foriengers is held on romanian soil. As foriengrs, we have the power to influence the romanian government, since it is attempting to join the European Union. The theme of the demonstration will be that if Romania wants to join the EU, it must respect human rights. In the evening of the 3rd of may, after the demonstration, we will gather in Costinesti in order to begin the camp. The camp is supported by Grieg and will be with Claudiu and Simona Trandafir, Angela Mayer and Mihaela and Gabriela Ambarus. The program of the camp will revolve around the 5 elements. On each day of the days of the camp there will be a focus on 1 element and the respective chakra (the first day on muladhara, second day on svatistana etc...). This will include a program of practice of asanas, meditations and other etechnichs for arousing that respective chakra and entering into resonance with the respective element. The 6th day of the camp will be consecrated for the revelation of the devine self atman, and will present a program of meditations with Claudiu Trandafir, according to the schedule of the self-revieling camps. Apart from this, the program of the first 5 days will include daily exemplifications sustaind by Grieg, many confrences concerning parapsychology, awakening of the soul and other issues, as well as rare spiritual movies, workshops, social activities etc. The camp will be held in a cousy, intimate atmosphere, due to it's relatively small number of perticipents. All participents, as well as instructors, will be living the whole time of the camp, together, in the yogi hotel, meals will be served together, and the program will be held in a comunity atmosphere. The camp will be held in the English language and translations to other languages will be available. All incomes form the camp will be a donation for MISA, for helping our school to face these problamtic times. The tax for participation is 50 EURO per person. Food and accomodation are 200.000 lei/day (approx. 5 euro/day). We meet on the 3rd OF MAY, AT 8:00, IN THE YOGA HALL OF PIPERA ASHRAM, for a briefing of the demonstration.
As a foriegner living in Romania, I would like to stress that there is no danger in participating in these activities.
