:: Heal Your Soul
"Dr. Vasant Lad, founder of the Ayurvedic Institute, convinced me and an audience of American cardiologists of this several years ago, when I first met him at his presentation to the Department of Cardiology at New York City's Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He introduced passages from the Charak Samhita, a 5,000-year-old medical text, that outlined symptoms and complications of cardiac disease only recently discovered by Western medicine. Thousands of years before modern science, it seems, Ayurveda had gathered this knowledge, without microscope or stethoscope. The result is a deep wealth of understanding that informs the cleansing procedures used in panchakarma" to this day.

:: Caring For Yourself - Part 3
Physical Exercices
"Caring for your body is important for building up self-esteem and self-confidence.
Try to be interested in your physical shape without becoming obsessed with it, as a good session of the sport you like usually enhances your mental and physical well being, due to the greater quantity of oxygen that gets into your body.
When physically unfit, you usually tend to feel more lethargic and to lack interest in the world and the people around you. If single, you will most likely be less interested in looking for a lover.
Low self-esteem will certainly be transmitted to others and this will have echoes in the way they consider you."

:: The Eye's Pleasure and The Mind's Nourishment
"Most people imitate others. You should be original, and whatever you do, do well."
Paramahansa Yogananda

:: Just A ... Note
"NOTE: This article has an advanced degree of difficulty and we recommend that you already be familiarized with the notion of sexual continence before you read it. Please read it with extra attention because some of the things we want to communicate cannot be expressed in a simple form. The notions we are about to unveil are the heart of the tantric teachings about sacred sexuality and we are sure that you will see them as a revolutionary way in comparison to the general attitude towards sex."

:: Brief Introduction To Mystical Lovemaking
"To attain mystical experience during lovemaking the mystical literature recommended that one fix, hold, stop, interrupt, contain, or stabilize thought. So, one should approach sex with an empty mind, a void mind, no mind, original mind, even mindlessness.
But be careful! You don't have to misinterpret the instruction "interrupt your thoughts". It has often, very wrongly, been taken literally to mean that mystics shun all mental activity and feature instead a blank, unaware, unconscious, numb, nonfunctioning state of mind, one which has closed out the world and locked away life."

:: The Wisdom Legacy of Paramahansa Yogananda
"Faith, or the intuitive experience of all truth, is present in the soul. It gives birth to human hope and the desire to achieve, but it also hides behind the wall of ignorance. Ordinary human beings know practically nothing of this intuitive faith that is latent in the soul, which is the secret wellspring of all our wildest hopes.

No hope is too grand or impossible for this all-seeing eye of intuitive faith to bring into manifestation."

:: Multi-Orgasmic Men - From Mtyh to Reality
"The multiple all-body orgasms start with the pelvic orgasms, in the contraction phase, but now, instead of letting the sexual energy in the pelvic area, you will make it ascend along the spine to the area of the head, and then extend it in the whole body."

:: The Secret
"In the November 2001 Yoga Journal, teachers Tim Miller and Sarah Powers discussed personal practice. Both noted that the difference between a personal yoga practice and doing a few asanas to keep limber is that a true yoga practice results in a change of consciousness -- a deepening of one's awareness of one's self and the world. "The true yoga begins when you leave the studio," Miller said. "Yoga is all about being awake, being mindful of your actions." Powers said, "I see classes as an adjunct to home practice, not vice versa. Yoga truly becomes your own when you rely on the strength of your love and dedication primarily, and not on the structure of a class."

:: Caring For Yourself
Caring for yourself is an important indicator of your awareness. A responsible person will pat great attention to things able of influencing, both in a positive and a negative manner the state of mind and spirit. Food is one of most important of these things.
"Normally, you should eat more bread and potatoes and less refined sugar. The carbohydrates present in the bread and potatoes provide energy at a steady level, while simple sugars give you a quick energy lift that ultimately leaves you irritable and edgy."

:: Learn To Pray - Part Three
"As a conclusion, we should keep in mind never to waste our time with useless and small actions. It is obvious that it is easier for us to get His innumerable gifts rather than the supreme, most valuable present He has for us: His divine presence inside of our souls.

Therefore, we should never let ourselves fooled by the great diversity and attraction of His creation, and aim for the supreme wonder of His communion."

:: Serious Laughter
"I will bet anyone here that I can fire thirty shots at 200 yards and call each shot correctly without waiting for the marker. Who will wager a ten spot on this?" challenged Mulla Nasrudin in the teahouse.
"I will take you," cried a stranger.
They went immediately to the target range, and the Mulla fired his first shot. "MISS," he calmly and promptly announced.
A second shot, "MISSED," repeated the Mulla.
A third shot. "MISSED," snapped the Mulla.
"Hold on there!" said the stranger. "What are you trying to do? You are not even aiming at the target.
And, you have missed three targets already."
"SIR," said Nasrudin, "I AM SHOOTING FOR THAT TEN SPOT OF YOURS, AND I AM CALLING MY SHOT AS PROMISED."

:: Prevent the Spring Fatigue
"Unusual mental or physical exertion, stress, and lack of sleep can make people tired. Prevention in these cases simply requires self-observation. Sometimes it means not pushing the body and mind beyond its limits. Other times it means walking or doing some physical work to help increase the body's energy level."

:: Come Rain or Come Shine
The Yoga Journal tells you how Yoga and meditation help your relationships.
"At his wedding, Chuck's godmother gave the new couple one bit of advice. "Never go to sleep angry," she warned them. "Make up before the day is done." Chuck thought this was very sensible; it went right along with his study of Eastern philosophy. Greed, hatred, and delusion were the causes of suffering. Why would he and his wife want to feed the fires of such destructive forces?
Yet things had not worked out as he had envisioned. Some years into the marriage, Chuck and Rachel had fights that never seemed to get resolved, at least not in the way he thought they should. Chuck still believed that they should not go to sleep angry, but as a consequence he would stay up all night processing his rage while his wife slept."

:: Vamana Dhauti - Part Two
"Moreover, our tendency to over-eat to the speed of light requires that our stomach be in its best shape to face the challenge. At this stage, the question that comes naturally on one's lips is: "Will I not get fat if my stomach is healthy?" In fact, the cellulite and fat deposits are the result of a malfunction of the stomach, not of its good assimilation."

:: Why Yoga?! - A Puzzling Question
Have you ever wondered Why Yoga?
"So, after 5,000 years, why has yoga become mainstream?
"They've tried everything else and nothing else works," Louisa Klein said. "So they've come back to the ancient."

:: Spring Purification
"In the famous treaty BHAKTI SAGARA-GRANTHA, the wise from the ancient times wrote: 'the gesture of the elephant makes the body immune to all illness. The gesture of the elephant means filling your stomach with water, and then getting it out, without effort. Just as the elephant takes the water in through its trump, then gets the water out through the trump, guarding its body from all illness, the man may also preserve his body in a perfect state of health. Just as a clay-bowl is cleaned with water, the same way we may clean our stomach with water.'"

:: To Be or ... To Do? - This Is The Question
"If you practice hatha yoga, you're no doubt familiar with this scenario: You've had an invigorating and inspiring practice session in which your mind was totally focused on your body and your breath. By the time you're done, you have a deep sense of peace and relaxation that seems to pervade every cell. You feel centered, balanced, in touch with yourself. You vow not to let this feeling slip away as the day progresses."

:: Meditation Of Expansion and Of Contraction Of the Energy
"The limits do not exist. You may even feel your aura is as big as your town or the whole planet or even the solar system. Expand your aura until you feel you have the whole universe inside of you."
