"The benefits of yoga are numerous, said Pat Durlach, who teaches a weekly class at Providence Hospital.
"The No. 1 thing it does is de-stresses people," she said. "It can help you sleep. It can help your digestion, your circulation, your strength and your flexibility."

:: Know Your Man, Both Inner and Exterior- Part Two
"The men who have Mars in Taurus have a good vitality and physical resistance, preferring to make love for long, being very attached to their lover's body.
The women with this position are highly attached of the physical presence of their lovers and of the tangible manifestations of their feelings. Their lovers must act in order to show their feelings and bring them material proves of their love."

:: Know Your Man, Both Inner and Exterior- Part One
"MARS IN SIGNS - In a man's natal chart, Mars tells very much about his masculinity, especially from an erotic point of view, about the way he acts as a lover, the way he likes to make love, as well as the degree to which he can control his basic instincts and his sexual potential.
In a woman's natal chart, Mars's position shows the type of man who sexually attracts her as well as the degree to which she become aware of her inner masculine side (animus)."

:: A Very Inexpensive Way To Kill Yourself - says the Nexus Magazine
"People have been bamboozled into thinking of their bodies the way they think of their cheque accounts. If they suspect they have low blood sugar, they are programmed to snack on vending machine candies and sodas in order to raise their blood sugar level. Actually, this is the worst thing to do. The level of glucose in their blood is apt to be low because they are addicted to sucrose. People who kick sucrose addiction and stay off sucrose find that the glucose level of their blood returns to normal and stays there."

:: The Afterlife
"Throughout those first years of exploring, my own ship's log was filled with enough verified information that existence of an afterlife beyond death's horizon should have been a known. Yet doubt continued to sail with me. I remained convinced there must be some other explanation for the accuracy of information, and rationalised it away."

:: A Simple Method For Revealing Your Supreme Self
"This exercise requires more than a simple thought about our existence, but the awareness of it. We should go beyond the thoughts and concepts to the direct, mysterious, and absolute knowledge of our existence."

:: Mulla - An Enlightened Jester
"Mulla Nasruddin, is a Sufi figure, one of the oldest figures of Sufi anecdotes, and he shows whatsoever I have been saying here: that the world is a cosmic joke -- he represents that. He is a very serious joker, and if you can penetrate him and understand him, then many mysteries will be revealed to you."

:: Asanas Of Happiness
"Yoga is a path of knowledge, and in the same time, a path of love and loving. Therefore, the sages have transmitted to the humanity poses that are to be performed by a couple, so that the relationships we have are harmonious and spiritual.
The asanas presented in the following may be performed before lovemaking as well, because they create an ineffable state of harmony between the two lovers."

:: The Two "I"-s
"There are two "I"-s: the ego and Atman. Atman reveals itself as one's true self to the person who is capable of getting above the "I", "me", and "mine".

:: Genetically Engineered Food
Questions about the safety of genetically engineered food, currently estimated to affect up to 70 percent of our food supply, fuel hot debates in the news every day. You've probably heard the concerns of scientists, health workers, environmentalists, and consumer advocates about this new technology—namely, that it poses risks to the environment and to human health and economic well-being. But while it doesn't often make headlines, the ancient science of Ayurveda offers a unique perspective on the issue, one that suggests greater spiritual ramifications than even most critics will acknowledge.

:: On Grace, Sadhana, Karma yoga, Love and Devotion
"My teacher, Yogi S.A.A. Ramaiah, often cited three requirements to receive the grace of Babaji. "The amount of Grace you receive depends upon how much sadhana you do, how much karma yoga or service you do and how much love and devotion you manifest," he would say. Not only in words, but also in the ways he required us to live our lives, as residents of his ashram and centers. What exactly did he mean by the terms "grace", "sadhana", "karma yoga" and "love and devotion"? How were these teachings applied in the lives of his dedicated students? One day I will write a book about this. For now, a brief description can help Babaji's students find success in this field and in all five planes of existence."

:: The Difficult and Rewarding Path of Meditation
"If you choose to follow the path of meditation, you are likely to encounter what are sometimes referred to as your "karmic knots"—those physical and emotional traumas you have accumulated throughout your lifetime. For instance, when you sit in meditation for a lengthy period, physical tensions in your body caused by stress or old injuries may manifest as a stabbing pain between the shoulder blades, an aching neck, or throbbing legs. Similarly, all your unfinished psychological issues will appear either as physical pain or other body sensations, intense emotions, voices, or as disturbing images that arise seemingly from nowhere. There is no way to avoid these experiences, nor should you. By allowing these sensations and emotions full expression while mindfully paying attention to them, you become free of them.:

:: Pranayama - Part Six
"Any person, man or woman may practice this technique with remarkable results, without exposing to the slightest risk (as long as it is practiced correctly).
The purity of the body and of the subtle structures facilitates the ascension of the erotic energies to the upper levels of consciousness. The main purpose in pranayama is to gain the control over the inner vital forces and of the mind."

:: Love Yourself In Order To Love And Be Loved
"However, before you can develop a genuine self-esteem you must first become aware and eliminate the negative behavioristic patterns formed by your past experiences from this life or from your previous lives and replace them with positive ones."

:: The Importance of Group Meditation - OSHO
"In meditation camps I have felt and observed that after two or three days your individuality is no more; you become part of a greater consciousness. And very subtle waves are being felt, very subtle waves start moving, and the group consciousness evolves."
VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA VOL 2
"Dynamic meditation is a contradiction. The dynamic means effort, much effort, absolute effort. And meditation means silence, no effort, no activity.
You are not like substance now; you are more like energy. You are not material; you have become electrical. Bring total energy to work, to be active, moving."

:: OSHO ON MEDITATION
"Meditation is not something new; you have come with it into the world. Mind is something new; meditation is your nature. It is your nature, it is your being.
Meditation is an adventure, an adventure into the unknown -- the greatest adventure that the human mind can take.
Meditation is just to be, not doing anything - no action, no thought, no emotion. You just are and it is a sheer delight. From where does this delight come when you are not doing anything? It comes from nowhere, or it comes from everywhere. It is uncaused, because existence is made of the stuff called joy."
